Grace St.Paul's Church
Where God is worshipped, His Word proclaimed and believed, and His love lived out.
Where God is worshipped, His Word proclaimed and believed, and His love lived out.
You may have heard a rumor that Grace St. Paul's, that friendly, welcoming church has closed. Maybe you haven't seen cars in the parking lot on Sunday mornings, or noticed that we haven't been livestreaming our worship services. While it's true that the building at 40 church road is closed, it's not true that we as a church have closed. Earlier this summer, we made the decision to leave the United Methodist denomination that we belonged to, which also meant having to leave behind our building.
But a church is not a building, it's a people, it's a family. We are still here, still worshipping the Lord. Since August 4th, we have been doing so at our new location, 410 Center Avenue in Jim Thorpe, the former Junior High, Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Be sure to check back here and our Facebook for important updates as we move through this season of transition.
A Message from Pastor Dan
At GSP we offer a traditional worship service biblically grounded in Scripture to help you navigate our complex world. Join us Sundays at 10:30 AM.
Church is not just about worship, it's about belonging to a community, a family who is there to encourage and support one another. Grace St. Paul's has always been known for their welcoming spirit, to make you feel as if you belong and that we are glad to see you-because we are.
We believe very deeply in the power of prayer and we are here to offer our prayers for you. You can submit a prayer request by emailing: gspoffice@protonmail.com or by clicking the link below.
Sign up to hear from us about coming events, worship service changes, and to receive our church's monthly newsletter.
Pastor Dan currently serves the two congregations of Grace St. Paul's of Jim Thorpe and Church of the Great Redeemer of Weatherly. Daniel experienced his call to ministry at a young age, though like many, even biblical characters, spent his time running from his calling rather than towards it but feels blessed now to be in service to the Lord through pastoral ministry since 2017. He resides with his supporting wife and three children in Jim Thorpe.
